It’s possible to have a lifestyle based on GI comfort instead of distress, and my sole purpose is to help you restore your gut health through education, not judgment.

Based on your lifestyle, my goal is to help you develop realistic dietary strategies tailored to your specific digestive disorder.

I’m as much a teacher, facilitator, and strategist as I am a registered dietitian, and with my leadership, you can learn which foods help, which hurt, and how you can manage the difference.

Hi, I’m Mallory Grassmuck,

I’d like to pretend that in my spare time I’m a bee keeper, a tri-athlete, and create ice sculptures with chainsaws. But here’s the reality: My husband and I have two young sons and most days we’re just happy if our boys leave the house wearing matching socks.

It’s been eleven years since I shifted my professional focus from that of a general-practice dietitian to a specialist in the field of digestive disorders.

My other reality is the sense of accomplishment I receive knowing I’ve helped my patients restore their GI health through diet therapy.

As a GI dietitian, I look forward to working with you.

  • It’s possible to stop researching restroom logistics and locations prior to visiting public spaces.
  • It’s possible to eat in restaurants and not regret it later.
  • It’s possible to free up trunk space by removing your emergency wardrobe change.
  • It’s possible to travel without the fear you won’t make it to the next roadside rest or wait in line on a flight.
  • It’s possible to make (and keep) commitments without canceling at the last minute.
  • It’s possible to be confident while grocery shopping and packing meals to eat at work or school.

Mallory was amazing! She was friendly, personable and very knowledgeable. Her very concise and informative follow up notes, allowed me to relax, listen and give my full attention to the appointment which I very much appreciated. The written information she provided was golden! She is A+!

Mallory is patient, kind, and compassionate. She’s one of the very few dieticians who is intimately familiar with gastroparesis and can provide not only helpful but literally life-changing advice. She has acted as a therapist, and she has helped me changed how I view food. Truly, she’s changing my entire relationship with food.

Mallory Grassmuck is patient, asking questions to discover what my core issues are, and offers a plan to follow. She explains clearly any questions I may have, giving me clear advice about what to avoid and what to include in my diet. Furthermore, she sent me notes on our meeting and a dietary plan to remind me of what to do. Mallory checked with me again in a week to see how I was doing and again offered help. Her encouragement and calm manner gave me confidence that I can be better.

Mallory is simply the best! She spends so much time with you on finding ways to improve the things you are already eating! It is not just cut this out and eat this, but what can we change to improve upon! I highly recommend Mallory for you nutrition health!

Mallory’s assessment of the dietary changes that were needed to improve my symptoms was accurate. Symptoms resolved after following her recommendations for three weeks. The handouts she provided were very helpful.

Mallory gave me my life back. The diet provided made life worth living again. I finally started feeling back to myself. I had no idea just how badly I was feeling until I started feeling better. I will be forever grateful that I found her.

My new diet has been life changing for me. I can enjoy more food and not be sick. I am so glad I made an appointment with Mallory. I finally felt listened to and not brushed off. I was glad someone actually said how I was feeling was not normal. She made my life better.
